After graduating from Oxford University with a BA(Hons) in Archaeology and Anthropology, I worked in media and the charity sector before beginning my training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in 2005. I completed the Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2010 and registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) in 2012. I have been working in private practice with adults for over 15 years.
In 2020 I completed a master’s degree in Transpersonal Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy from the University of Northampton, graduating with distinction. I have been working for the past seven years with children and young people mainly in educational settings, alongside my ongoing practice with adults.
In 2021 I trained as a supervisor, and I supervise individuals and groups of therapists who work with adults, children and young people. As well as being a training supervisor for students on the Diploma at CCPE, I have also had the pleasure of supervising at the Ruth Strauss Foundation and Ealing Abbey Counselling Service.
I am a lecturer, academic tutor, and group facilitator on the Transpersonal Child, Adolescent and Family MA programme at CCPE and sit on the committee of the College for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapies (CCAP) which is a college of UKCP.
